I had travelled 250 miles to Beddgelert and arrived at 1540. The place we had booked had a 1600 check-in so I took a stroll down to Emrys House to get some bacon and eggs for the morning.nnThe two ladies (one blonde and one dark haired) were very friendly and helpful. We got chatting and they told me I would be OK to check in early as they knew the people that cleaned that property and that they had been and gone!nnThe shop itself is the only grocery shop in the village but has pretty much everything that you may need.nnSuch a lovely village too....

What a beautiful village and great store of it. It's has been crowned for the One and Only shop in the area. It offers so many products such as snacks, meals, fruit & veg, soft drinks, ice cream, greetings cards, pet foods & selection of wine, ales and tobacco at competitive prices. It's also a post office. The staff are quite good at their job. It's the only shop in village so appreciate their efforts.

Wonderful experience! We were two, sad cold Canadians who had missed the last bus and these ladies went above and beyond to help us get back to our accommodations. We couldn't be more thankful for their kindness and hospitality! Thank you again!
